Hey! My name is Casey Payne. I have been a volunteer leader with student ministries for four years. It's been a blast being a leader at the weekend service and for small groups. I am totally pumped to have written two of the sections you will read. Both are passions of mine; loving and serving others. I believe strongly that to be like Jesus we need to love and serve. Some of the accounts you will read are not to be down on myself but to be honest and tell you how I remember my classmates and myself from my school days. I was not the popular kid or the athlete. I was the border line–nerd with lots of ideals about life. I struggled a lot with friendships during those years. I was a bit of a loner. I hope the true stories you read are a reminder that the Christian life is a never ending journey. I am happy to say I have changed since then. I hope when you look back you will remember yourself fondly. I also pray the moments you live out during your school years are seized for God. You are precious and wonderfully made. I pray God will challenge you over the next few weeks to become more like the person God created you to be!
