INFLUENCE - YOUR FRIENDSHIPS MATTER
READ: PROVERBS 13
"So if Johnny jumped off a cliff would you?" Everybody hates that line, but in it is a nugget of truth. Who we surround ourselves impacts who we are, and in the context of this series, who we will become! Will Smith gave this quote, "You're only as good as the people you associate with. Look at the five friends you spend the most time with–that's who you are... If you're the smartest person in your squad, then you need a new squad. Be around people you want to be like or who will advance you."
TODAY'S DRILL:
Make a list of the five people you spend the most time with and then do the following:

MIDDLE SCHOOL:
Look at that list and think if those friends help your relationship with God, help you do better in school, or make you a better person in relationships.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Look at that list and think through each of them individually. You need to have two sets of friends there:
1) friends you are pouring into and
2) friends who are pouring into you!
